Man Met Bril Koffie, a coffee company based in Rotterdam, commissioned the development of a cup and a small plate for their specialty coffee. They recently opened the world’s first coffee hotel by the beautiful River Rotte in Crooswijk, Rotterdam. A selection of hand-brewed coffees is served at the brew bar.

The technique I used is coiling which is the most basic to show how every fingerprint built the cups and plates. Thousands of fingerprints are imprinted on the cups and strong patterns are made on the plates. 

 

The cups and plates are designed to experience a handcrafted journey from specialty coffee to barista to hand-building cups. Go and sit at the bar and watch the barista making a cup of brewed coffee and enjoy the cup.
